Constituent submitted the following via email: Hi, it’s come to my attention that the corner store, La familia market located at 64 Blue hill Ave Roxbury has card skimmers. My mother, grandmother and grandfather have all made purchases at that store. They’ve all lost money from random transactions coming off of their cards. My mother has recently made a purchase today at their store with her EBT Debit card and has had a 70 and 90 dollar transaction on her account that she didn’t do. Only purchases she has made was at Stop & Shop and Walmart, which are all big companies and stores so I doubt they were the ones with card skimmers. I have reason to believe it is La familia market that has the card skimmers since like I’ve mentioned my grandma and grandfather got money stolen and they all have shopped there within the past week. | Name/address of the store: [La Familia market] Item description: [card skimmers]
CLOSED #101005908621Case Resolved. There was no skimmer found in the card readers at LaFamilia market. You may want to check with the Stop & Shop and Walmart the grandparents shopped at.
