37 Archdale Rd, Roslindale, Ma, 02131Illegal driver in Roslindale, white Kia SUV Ma plate 4ZLE17. Threw a bottle at my car while turning because he couldn’t previously illegally pass me- my dash cam footage shows him crossing double yellow lines into oncoming traffic, running red lights in bus lanes, almost hitting a scooter in the bike lane, and when he finally had an opportunity to pass pulling up to my passenger window to yell/be aggressive with waterbottle ready to be tossed. Anyone that drives like that shouldn’t have a license. Incident started by Healy field in Roslindale, didn’t end until intersection at archdale rd. Video shows the road rage started due to a black jeep not cutting off jammed traffic from a side street feeding onto Washington, kia was behind and apparently in a rush.

301 315 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, Ma, 02115I am writing to raise a serious concern about the ongoing traffic situation at the Westland Ave / Mass Ave intersection. Construction in this area has created massive congestion, and the current traffic management is worsening the problem instead of alleviating it. During peak commuting hours—precisely when traffic is at its heaviest—construction routinely blocks lanes. At the same time, the light cycle only allows 5–10 cars through before turning red again, immediately stopping drivers at the next light at Huntington Ave / Mass Ave. This creates a line of traffic that extends all the way back to I-90, taking 20–30 minutes to move from the highway to Symphony Hall. Adding to the frustration, even when police are stationed at the intersection, they often do not actively direct traffic. Instead of easing the gridlock, they allow the poor signal timing to continue unchecked. Meanwhile, cross streets show little to no backup, which makes the current setup particularly inefficient and confusing. The result is not just frustration for drivers but also significant delays for public transit, increased emissions from idling vehicles, and safety hazards for pedestrians and cyclists navigating congested intersections. I urge the city to: • Reevaluate and retime the signals at Westland / Mass Ave and Huntington / Mass Ave to allow a reasonable flow of vehicles. • Actively manage traffic during construction <truncated>

Tree Maintenance Requests
106 108 Kenrick St, Brighton, Ma, 02135Hi, I need to build a fence around my backyard and need 2 City trees that are on the border of my property removed. The first photo shows the tree on the property line. The second photo shows a tree (see red circle) that is not quite on my property but is an obstacle to the building of the fence. The third photo is of a huge branch from a tree not on my property. The branch, however is, and must be pruned as it is taking away all light from my yard and has destroyed my grass. My property is in Brighton Thanks! MR
CLOSED #101006297260Noted. The BPRD is not going to remove trees so that you can install a fence. It is protected park land and the trees are also protected. You may install your fence on your own property without damaging the public trees.
