Intersection Of Buttonwood St And Columbia Rd, Dorchester, MaBTD: some authority or agency has closed off the left turn option near Dorchester Ave and Columbia. The ripple effect of this closure without other adjustments to the length of the left turn light from Colombia onto Dorchester has pushed traffic onto 93 and all the way back past South Bay. It also was instituted at the same time. The red line also just closed service on the Ashmont line for 2 weeks and so all of the commuters traveling by bus are snared in this sluggish traffic. Are these intended effects of this decision or did you or whoever just not think it through very carefully?

This constituent is making a complaint against the Red Line train track project being done at Ashmont Station for two weeks. She stated that they are qorking 24 hours constantly making noises. Around 11pm -5am is the worst. She also stated why are they having gravel delivered around 3:30am with the trucks backing up with beeping sounds. She said that they can't sleep and it isn't fair to the residents and children that live near by. | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]

Dear Mayor Wu, I am writing to urge your administration to do everything in its power to improve the Red Line service. The slow zones are unbearable. The service is unreliable. Subway cars are constantly out of service, forcing crowding on other cars. Further, the escalators at the south-bound egress in Andrew Station have been out of service for nearly a month with no signs of repair. The MBTA is a liability for the City of Boston. Its disrepair will only drive people and businesses away until something is done. I know your administration is working on this and that the commonwealth bears much of the responsibility. But please, I implore you, whatever is currently being done isn't enough. Thank you for your time and attention to this. | Case (SR) Type: [Mayor's Request] Referred To: [INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS]

Constituent States: I would like to address my concerns not only with our public transportation system but the lack of leadership I have seen from your office. The red line has been delayed and unreliable for almost a year now and little to no statement has been made from you or your team on what you’re doing to fix it. The only thing we know is that the red line runs every 15-20 minutes, they run at 10 mph, and make us get off at the dangerous Andrew station because all of a sudden the train stops working. We would like to see a cohesive plan about what you and this so called new director of the MBTA are doing to fix this terrible public transportation system. | Case (SR) Type: [Miscellaneous] Referred To: [INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS]
