Constituent reports, I wholeheartedly embrace use of public transportation. When attempting to do so Monday 5/6 @ 3:50 pm @ Natick Center, I missed the commuter rail to Boston when it mysteriously arrived on Track 1 (which said Outbound Natick Center) and not on Track 2 (which clearly said Inbound Boston). A man waiting on my side of the tracks saw my confusion and said at 2:30 the tracks change. Of course, there was no employee there to ask a question and this was my first time attempting to take the commuter rail from Natick, as I live in Saugus. A sign would have been extremely helpful! The train operator must have seen my frantic race to make it to the other side and still left me standing there. My alternatives were to wait for the next train, which would not arrive for an hour, or take an Uber, which I did, at a cost to my daughter since this senior citizen did not have the app. Then yesterday, I received an alert @ 4 pm that the Blue Line had 25 minute delays because of a signal problem @ Orient Heights. Add that to the Red Line busing and it's just another day in paradise trying to commute in Boston. | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]

69 79 N Harvard St, Allston, Ma, 02135increasing safety issues at Boston calling every year due to layout not accommodating increased attendance. Specifically: - the entrance into the Porta potty village is a siphon and there is extreme crowd crush there at certain times of the day. People pressed chest to back unable to move kind of crush. - another siphon between red and green stages and large artists playing back to back at each one makes for another crowd rush & crush situation. - only one location for free water means lines are often an hour+ long in direct sunlight. I’ve seen more people pass out at this festival than any other concert I’ve been to and it’s reasonable to believe this is due in part to the lack of access to water. This festival is a wonderful Boston tradition but if there are not changes to the layout and crowd control I suspect we will be seeing a Travis Scott Astroworld type tragedy in coming years. Even if this is the only complaint you receive about this, this opinion was shared by many I spoke to there and reflected by many online as well. | Case (SR) Type: [Tourism, Sports, and Entertainment] Referred To: [TOURISM, SPORTS, AND ENTERTAINMENT]

1 City Hall Plz, Boston, Ma, 02108Quality of life issue I would like to raise: there have been so many shuttle buses with I believe MBTA passengers from one of the down lines - they are traveling through Chinatown and Leather District via Essex and Surface Road at a large scale. Was the neighborhood made aware of this at our community meetings? This has been really disruptive and dangerous to people walking as they have really loud exhausts, running red lights, and honking at the slightest inconvenience. If the MBTA is going to be so disruptive to a neighborhood they need to be held accountable. Please have them reach out so we can discuss. Thank you! | Case (SR) Type: [ONS Coordinator Issues] Referred To: [ONS: CHINATOWN/DOWNTOWN]

Intersection Of Winter St And Tremont St, Boston, MaHi, thanks for working to help prioritize buses during the red line shutdown. There are some signs that try to keep cars out of the bus lane on Tremont Street. The sign is really hard to read quickly by drivers, and the barrel is often turned to the side. Would it be possible to improve on this? The shutdown is for a long enough time that anything you can do to help keep cars out of the bus lane would be so helpful when we are on the diversion buses headed south. A version of MUTCD R3-11 would be useful with an arrow on it. Next to it, a sign that says "cars keep left", a modified R4-8a. | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]
