A car with California license plates has been illegally parked in a 2 hour limited parking spot for months on South Sydney Street in Dorchester without recourse. The owner of the vehicle lives with a Boston Police officer who has placed his Boston Police traffic ticket pad on the dashboard so the vehicle is not ticketed, meanwhile other vehicles on this street regularly receive parking tickets and in cases of street sweeping have been towed from South Sydneys Street. This vehicle with out of state plates parked a 2 Hour limited spot with the Boston Police ticket pad in the window is skipped over by parking enforcement time and time again. Not only is the constant presence of this vehicle a constant hinderance to temporary visitors wishing to use the 2 hour limited parking spots, it is also a flagrant abuse of the authority bestowed upon Boston Police officers as well as an unacceptable example of selective parking enforcement that favors those with city or law enforcement connections. A Boston resident parking sticker is free to all city residents, there is no reason a resident of Boston should have any trouble obtaining one, especially with a city laew enforcement connection.

Hello, I would like to report a vehicle currently parked directly in front of a fire hydrant on Clifford st in front of house number 35. With the impending blizzard and severe weather conditions expected, I am concerned that access to the hydrant may be needed in an emergency. Blocking a hydrant during heavy snowfall could significantly delay response time if first responders are required in the neighborhood. I’m submitting this as a concerned resident hoping to ensure safety and accessibility for everyone in the area. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

About half the cars parked on this snow emergency route won’t budge unless you tow them. Half of the cars moved. This is worst case because the plows can’t plow due to all the cars that didn’t follow the rules, but all the empty spots will be packed in under two feet of snow and no human will be able to shovel them out. The city always ignores this snow emergency route. Please, this time, just once, finally enforce the rules and tow on Northampton between Shawmut and Tremont.

There is a white Toyota Camry plate number 9999CG parked outside of 49 Saratoga street they are half in the street and with the blizzard coming and the amount of snow anticipated plows will have a difficult time coming down the street

Jeep from PA always in 2 hour. We don’t have enough parking for this to be happening all the time. Residents who live here are forced to park in school yard!!!!

Hello- my husband and I moved into our home on 200 Spring Street in W.Roxbury in June 2025. The curb cut into the sidewalk that leads to our driveway is incredibly steep and scrapes the bottom of our car every time we pull in the driveway. It's a safety concern because we live on a busy road and sometimes need to pull into the driveway quickly to not disrupt traffic but we can't because we don't want to exacerbate the damage to the bottom of our car. Would the city be able to adjust the angle of the curb cut or fill it in?

The driving on Boylston is increasingly reckless. I crossed in a pedestrian crosswalk with the light; one car and two bikes ran the red light. There was a deadly crash nearby, only months ago.
