Constituent was concerned about residents in Fields Corner receiving two tickets during street sweeping. These two tickets come from Boston PD and BTD within a couple of hours of each other. Constituent spoke with parking clerk and parking enforcement, who said that departments must wait 6 hours to issue a new ticket. Constituent paid their parking ticket but was hoping to see more communication between BPD and BTD going forward. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA C-11]

The constituent says that her license plate was stolen and she filed a police report, but she keeps getting parking tickets because whoever stole her license plate is parking illegally. She says that BPD, the Office of the Parking Clerk, and the RMV directed her to each other, and upon speaking to each department they said they cannot help. She cannot dissociate her name from the license plate without paying the tickets, but she is not the one who parked illegally and garnered the tickets. She believes there is a bureaucratic error here and asks that someone reach out to her as soon as possible to amend it. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA D-4]

36 Waldemar Ave, East Boston, Ma, 02128Caller is reporting an ongoing issue where BPD/BTD are ticketing her constantly for having her car stick out of the driveway, and onto "city property", but when she called the city to fix this section, they came out and told her they measured the area, and found that it is her property. So they won't fix it, but ticket her all the time for blocking city property. She is unable to get any assistance on this issue, and got screamed at by somebody in the parking clerks office. She is looking for some assitance from ONS on this | Case (SR) Type: [ONS Coordinator Issues] Referred To: [ONS: EAST BOSTON]

1591 Centre St, 1, West Roxbury, Ma, 02132I live at 1591 Centre St, #1. I parked on Sunset Hill Road due to the parking ban and my car was hit by a plow that did not stop or leave any information. That is absolutely unacceptable, I was not parked in an area that the plows could not get by and have parked there multiple times since the snow has started. This is 100% reckless. | Case (SR) Type: [Claims vs City (City Clerk)] Referred To: [CITY CLERK]

287 Bunker Hill St, 1, Charlestown, Ma, 02129Our car was parked on medford st after the parking ban was lifted. We discovered it had been severely damaged by a plow truck the following day, the front bumper was almost entirely detached. No note was left on the car. It had to be towed away from the scene immediately because there were loose parts on the street. | Case (SR) Type: [Claims vs City (City Clerk)] Referred To: [CITY CLERK]

Constituent called reporting that she was parked at a meter and had 9 min left on her meter when she returned to her car but found that she had a parking ticket. She approached the meter maid nearby asking why she was ticketed and was then informed that this meter maid did not issue her a ticket. Upon further inspection, the meter maid and constituent concluded that it was not a valid ticket. It was NOT a parking ticket, but an advertisement for Spot Hero (spothero.com; 617-381-4535). The front of the ticket looked like the violation/return address to City of Boston Office of the Parking Clerk issued from the Boston Transit Police and says "violation" but on the back side it is an advertisement. Constituent and metermaid were especially upset because it could put the meter maids at risk- people do not take parking tickets lightly and this could cause issues with people thinking they were wrongfully ticketed when in actuality it is a business advertisement using the city info. | Case (SR) Type: [Code Enforcement] Referred To: [CODE ENFORCEMENT]
