Dumpster improperly placed relative to permit. Boston Parking Clerk confirmed this. Can someone people stop 65 Sullivan from abusing this permit? In addition to blocking off more space than allowed, they’re also parking their vehicles in the spaces where contractors should be and the contractors are parked elsewhere. This situation is out of control and it’s taking up way too much resident parking.

Noted. Upon arrival time of complaint the dumpster has a valid permit and the extra dumpster permit saving spots was removed taken up auto parking, no citation was issued at this time.

According to the Parking Clerk yesterday, this dumpster is in blatant violation where it currently is and will be cited every day it remains there. So please cite these people until they move the dumpster where it is permitted to be - it’s not a matter of a few feet - it’s taking up parking and that’s not fair to every other resident.

Resolved. No violations found at this time by Code Enforcement. DPW permit department said this is ok.

No. It is in fact in violation. The Parking Clerk confirmed it yesterday. That’s why they got a citation last week. The only reason it’s there is because there was snow piled in the permitted area when the dumpster arrived. All of those signs point to a clear violation. Check the city records. There is a long paper trail showing the non-compliance of where this dumpster is.

Resolved. Owner showed the officer her valid permit yesterday. We will continue to monitor. Please contact DPW Petmitting office with any other issues.

65 Sullivan Street was cited for putting a dumpster where it isn’t authorized. The Parking Clerk told me today that they will be cited each day for every day they are in violation. Please cite them again as they haven’t moved the dumpster. It’s been in this spot illegally for over a week, so they should have a lot of citations by now.

  • Snow Plowing/Salting

63 Myrtle St, Boston, Ma, 02114

To whom it may concern, I am writing to respectfully request reimbursement for my parking fee at the Boston Common garage during the most recent snowstorm (1/25/26 7:30 am- 1/27/26 at 9:15am) based on unclear parking instructions, as well as to express my concerns about the snow emergency and subsequent parking ban being lifted prematurely by the City. At the time the snow emergency was lifted by the City (8pm on 1/26/26), the streets in my neighborhood of Beacon Hill were entirely covered in snow. Not only this, but my neighbors and I witnessed a snow plow get stuck for over two hours, bumping a car parked on the corner of Myrtle and Garden street at 10pm, requiring a front loader to get it out of the snow. In consideration of these unsafe road conditions, I decided to prioritize safety and leave my vehicle in the Boston Common garage overnight (1/26/26) and retrieve it the next morning for work. Due to the misleading and inconsistent wording of the City’s instructions, I was under the impression the regular rate for parking at the Boston Common garage would be imposed once the snow emergency had been lifted. It was not clear that residents would be retroactively charged normal rates for the duration of parking in the garage. As a result of this ambiguity, I attempted to call the parking gara

Parking tickets found on my father’s truck that do not belong to him. License plate does not match. LICENSE PLATE 642TV4 is not my father’s vehicle!

    CLOSED #101006438783

Case Resolved. Please check with the Office of the Parking Clerk at 617-635-4410 to determine whether these tickets have genuinely been attributed to your father's vehicle. There is a greater chance that they were moved from a different vehicle and placed onto his windshield by another constituent. If this is the case, no further action would be required from you or your father regarding this matter.
