Complaint regarding the Room to Grow Recovery Center, 5th floor, St. Francis House, 39 Boylston St, Boston MA 02116. Under the director in place for the past three or so years, I have truly witnessed this center go downhill. People are dying. People are relapsing under this new director — including friends of mine with twenty plus years in recovery. The program no longer offers meaningful recovery programming; activities have been taken away, and sessions feel compulsory, held in a front room under newly installed security cameras. Members are kicked out of our own center for Friday graduations held for another floor in the building — if it is advertised that we are open, members should not be kicked out, especially in the winter months. Their posted hours of operation are false or inaccurate: every time you turn around, the center is closed, with only verbal notice if you were lucky enough to be there when it was announced. Even lunch timing is unpredictable — sometimes you have five minutes to eat, sometimes thirty. I am a former 2.5-year St. Francis House resident in recovery since 2022. I sought to serve on the center's advisory board and was instead barred based on misinformation — I was accused of supposedly making racially insensitive comments, which is untrue. During that bar I could have relapsed, and my primary care physician is in this building, so it disrupted my healthcare too. Their grievance policy was, with all due respect, a joke. All my other complaints have come from a place of passion; this complaint comes from a place of pain. Please look into the mismanagement of funds and conditions at this program. Now that there is more staffing, I hope the center is going in a better direction. This local service perfectly reflects the mandate stated by State Police Commander Colonel Geoffrey Noble: "The Massachusetts State Police will deliver excellent police services, build and maintain public trust, and enforce the law with fairness, compassion, equity, transparency, and accountability."

Noise complaint

I previously reported about a park with the sprinkler system on. I just wanna show you again. It’s 4:30 in the morning and it’s still on. It’s creating a puddle. I’m sending you pictures again. It’s a waste. It doesn’t shut off.

The CITY OF BOSTON,MA issued waste cans LOCATED AT THE REAR YARD by the balconies of 55-65 LANARK ROAD CONDOMINIUMS in BRIGHTON,MA 02135 are severely damaged due to this storm and are leaking waste water as well as attracting rodents. This is a health and safety hazard for every one.The broken limbs from the trees have penetrated the caused leaks and toxic odors in the waste cans. White Jeep L & East 5th facing the wrong direction on a street with double yellow line. Has been there since Friday night….please ticket and tow it out off the street. Dangerous

Non-service dogs are still being allowed in Star Market @ North Station. This time someone even had their small white dog INSIDE A SHOPPING CART THAT OTHER PEOPLE USE!! When reported to the employees, they say there’s nothing they can do about it. A store manager also told me the same thing. He even told me that they recently had more than one incident of a dog pooping on the floor

The lights on my street are off

Vehicle still parked on hydrant at 12:44am. This a**hole has been parking here at night for over a week. Individual must know that we have no parking enforcement in our area at night. If BTD has a roving patrol this evening please send them to tag and tow this vehicle. This is a public safety issue. If not could 311 notify BPD. Thank you.
