Code Enforcement: Chronic Sidewalk Obstruction — Columbus Ave & Clarendon St A chronic daily issue is occurring at the corner of Columbus Ave and Clarendon St in Boston. An individual regularly blocks the sidewalk with a large sign, chair, and bucket, limiting pedestrian passage. The individual is often present during afternoon and evening hours and at times appears passed out, behaves aggressively, and makes rude comments toward passersby. Ongoing hand-to-hand transactions also regularly occur at this location involving individuals arriving from the direction of 140 Clarendon St. Please coordinate code enforcement review and police investigation regarding this ongoing condition. 59 India street construction. Supposedly the contractors have permits for early ours - 6am. It is after midnight and the the construction has not stopped. This has gone on for months. This is a disservice to everyone who lives in the neighborhood. We do not get a moments peace to sleep, this also impacts our work productivity as the city apparently allows them to work all through the night AND workday…at least choose one. I should not be punished because your project is behind schedule. The attached video is from after midnight in the middle of the week.
