Was a permit issued to allow these contractors to take over a huge part of the Clarendon St playground to service private property? If so, why couldn’t this wait until after the school year? Many schools use this space for recess. How long will the scaffolding be up? Taking away outdoor kid play space for recess at the beginning of Spring is just plain mean. The space has already been diminished for older kids in favor of younger kids and now the open space for the older kids to run around is gone.
