Noise Complaint – Hannibal Auto Repair in Residential Area I would like to file a noise complaint regarding Hannibal Auto Repair located at the corner of Adams Street and Gibson Street in Dorchester. This business regularly begins operating very early in the morning, sometimes as early as 6:00 a.m., creating excessive noise from engines, metal work, and repair equipment in a residential neighborhood. The noise is disruptive to nearby residents and appears to be occurring before the permitted hours under Boston’s residential noise ordinance. This has become an ongoing disturbance that affects the peace and quality of life of the surrounding homes. I respectfully request that the City inspect this business and determine whether it is violating Boston noise regulations or operating outside permitted hours.
