There is an ongoing issue with an accessible (handicap) parking space in front of my residence on Hano St, Allston, MA. Vehicles without valid disability placards are parking in this designated accessible space on a daily basis. My mother is disabled and relies on this legally designated accessible parking space for access to our home. When the space is taken by unauthorized vehicles, she is unable to safely access parking near the residence. I am requesting increased enforcement of this accessible parking space, including ticketing and regular monitoring, to ensure compliance with ADA parking regulations.

I live on a corner lot and I’m concerned about vehicles driving too close to the sidewalk/property corner. I’d like the city to evaluate whether bollards or protective poles can be installed for pedestrian and property safety.
