253 Amory St, Jamaica Plain, Ma, 02130Please install a traffic signal at the Amory St and New Minton St intersection in Jamaica Plain. This is currently a difficult 3-way stop. My 5-year-old and I were almost hit by a van yesterday while walking in the crosswalk. The driver was making a turn from Amory St onto New Minton St and apparently didn't see us entering the crosswalk.

Poor Conditions of Property
10 Westerly St, Jamaica Plain, Ma, 02130This property is as close to being abandoned as can be even though supposedly it has demolition/construction permits. Previously cited multiple times including for over 1 cubic feet of trash/waste. That has not changed. Contractor doing the work has shown up 3 times this year for a total of 4 days to demolish the roof and leave an even bigger mess than before all around the property. Rotting building materials that have been exposed to the elements since February when they were delivered. Demolition debris and other trash (including mattresses)all over the backyard and all sides of property. Rats must be nesting around the property and run around at night when people are walking down the sidewalk. The neighbor's dog has even killed 2 rats in the last few weeks. The owners haven't paid a single citation as confirmed by the city's lookup tool. Why is there no better enforcement? Their building permit should be revoked until they comply with city regulations or a lien be placed on it. Please do something about this. Going on for over 2 years now and the way it looks probably no resolution in sight. Whoever is in charge, both owner and contractor, are clearly not responsible people and don't care how it affects the neighborhood. The contractor stopped by briefly, looked at the citation and threw it on the front yard, then just left without doing a single thing. Can you please escalate this so the owner/contractor will clean up. They have a dumpster. Why won't they do the right thing? It seems they have to be forced to do it by the city.
