  • Illegal Parking

47 Jeffries St, East Boston, Ma, 02128

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the current parking situation in the Jeffries St, Marginal St, Maverick St and Summer, (Jeffries Point) neighborhood. Over the past several weeks, I have noticed that a significant number of vehicles (90%) parked in the residential permit areas do not display the required neighborhood parking stickers. This situation has made it increasingly difficult for residents who follow the permit rules to find available parking near their homes. It also appears that enforcement in this area may NOT be occurring as consistently as needed. I kindly request that the City Hall or the appropriate parking enforcement department review this issue and consider increasing patrols or enforcement efforts in Jeffries Point to ensure that the parking regulations are properly followed.
