FORMAL COMPLAINT – REPEATED EARLY-MORNING/WEEKEND CONSTRUCTION AT 390 HARRISON AVE I am filing a formal complaint regarding months of extremely loud construction directly outside 390 Harrison Ave and the City’s failure to address our repeated complaints. This is not an isolated incident. I first complained on Saturday, June 20 at 7:52 AM after crews had already been “blasting away” since early that morning. Residents should not be repeatedly awakened by heavy construction before 7 AM on Saturdays while our complaints go unanswered. I want Public Works/ISD to confirm what permit currently authorizes this work, whether BEFORE-7-AM SATURDAY work is specifically authorized, why work continued after the cited permit expired, what enforcement action is being taken, and WHEN THIS CONSTRUCTION WILL END. Please do not close this complaint by simply stating that the project is “permitted.” I am specifically challenging the dates and hours during which this work is occurring and requesting a substantive response.
