The city did asphalt work in the road on the side of 72 and 73 Call Street in Jamaica Plain and did not sweep up any asphalt on the sidewalk. As a result it melted into the sidewalk. This is beyond disrespectful to the people who live in these buildings and not the first time in the the past 6 months that the city has damaged sidewalks at the Call Carolina Complex. This is affordable housing ownership. We do not have the funds to repair damage the city is continuously making to our sidewalks. Please come back with a power washer and clean the ashes of the sidewalks next to where asphalt work was done.

July 1, 2026 At approximately 1252 Washington Street (Alex Pizza), Boston, MA 02118, multiple vehicles, including the business’s own delivery driver, have been illegally parked in the designated bus and bike lane for hours. These ongoing parking violations obstruct public transit, force cyclists into moving traffic, and create an unsafe condition for all road users. This has become a recurring issue at this location.
