This morning I called to report idling illegally park tractor trucks on lomasney Way. An officer from BP came out , saw them idling, saw where they were parked and said he would not write a ticket but he would ask the one in the middle of the road to move. When the officer approached the truck left on its own. I expressed that if the laws against idling were enforced behavior would change. He asked what difference it would make not have tractor trailers outside my windows idling and said it wouldn't bother him. It's hours to set up and break down events. The trucks arrive in the morning and return after the event is finished. It's not unusual for it to go 6 hours. I believe that issuing just one moving violation, which idling is, to a driver would change the policy for arriving before there is time in TD Gardens loading zones. They have policies for their tenants and they should have one for themselves. They have modified their behavior in the past after complaints but don't stick with it. Idling and airbrakes are an issue for residents whether or not a Boston Police offer agrees. A truck has been sitting in a middle lane of traffice since 10:42AM, it's now 11:39AM. It's frustrating
