Every taxpayer deserves a decent night’s sleep, yet this basic right has been disregarded in my neighborhood for some time. Currently, one permit allows construction from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., while another crew operates from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. As a result, residents are left with virtually no quiet hours. This continuous construction schedule is unreasonable and significantly disrupts our ability to rest. It is difficult to understand how overlapping permits were approved in a manner that eliminates any meaningful period of peace and quiet for the neighborhood.
