When I left for work this morning at 7:30 AM, there were no signs on Cedrus Ave indicating no parking. I get home tonight and there are multiple no parking signs, dated for TODAY through Friday. How is this reasonable to expect people to move their car with no notice? I am leaving tomorrow to go out of town for a funeral. Is the city going to decide to increase the area they need for construction activity and tow my car, even if it is currently parked away from the now existing signage? It seems that the dates indicated on the signage are scribbled to be whatever fits. And clearly the city is putting signage out willy nilly. I looked up the permit and its expired. And it says its supposed to be posted at minimum 48 hours in advance. This is unacceptable.

Illegal signs threatening to cut bike locks on city provided poles at the W hotel. According to city regulations the only poles you can't lock to are handicap and bus stop signs, and private signs are not allowed to be added.
