Sidewalk shovel at Cambridge and Brighton Ave near fire station

See prior report of snow plow dumping snow on sidewalk of Croftland and Owencroft Sts. so high only heavy equipment can remove it. Report said it’s been resolved. No one has been out to remove the snow. Kids have to climb over it to make their way over to school. No one has been here from DPW despite numerous calls since Monday.

Good morning, I appreciate how hard city crews have been working to clean up after the storm, thanks. This is an ongoing issue regarding traffic backups that begin afer turning off of Mass AVe and onto Melnea Cass up to Tremont street this is complicated by construction at the corner and illegal left turns from the right lane which results in additional backups - the backup continues trying to turn on to Ruggles street - this 1.5mile stretch can take 40 minutes some mornings adding to longer commutes, carbon emissions, emergency vehicles slowed down, and pedestrians are also trying to navigate this stretch. This is on a typical day - not as a result of snow! Thank you

Signs destroyed during snow removal. Dead end street and Gifford Place signs.

After we shoveled the hydrant, people put more snow on top of the hydrant. Is Boston Fire can’t get down the street because the street is not plowed and the hydrant is covered. This is a MAJOR safety issue.

The crosswalk in the middle of the lanes was not cleaned. This is a school parents and students had a hard time crossing the street. Brooke Charter School 150 American Legion Highway

Intersection of Sudbury street and Cambridge street by the Verizon building at the traffic light. This section doesn’t get plowed and it’s on our route to the daycare, making the trip very hazardous with a stroller.

The intersection of Traveler St and Harrison is extremely unsafe. 1) the median crosswalk between tatte and bar mezzana, circled in red, has not been cleared so people have to walk into the middle of the intersection to cross. 2) the snow is pushed and plowed so deep into the intersection it is causing a huge blind spot for cars trying to turn or go straight. The red line note where the road is and you can see who the snow blocks the road. It has been like this for over 24 hours. Please clean the crosswalk and road.

There is a front loader moving snow from the street directly onto the sidewalks forcing residents to walk in the busy street because the sidewalks are unwalkable now.
