I’d like to report a nuisance noise in the South Street/Rosemary Street area of Jamaica Plain. The noise started about a week ago and we have noticed that the noise begins sometime around 9:30 and 10:30 PM every night and it turns off around 7:30 AM. It’s hard to pinpoint where the noise is coming from, but from this address, it appears to be coming from the south. It sounds like an air handler making a howling/drone noise, but there’s a continuous high-pitched squeal that accompanies it. Since the noise began, it has been incredibly distracting and it makes it very difficult to get to sleep without taking steps to mask the noise and having to do this every night is incredibly frustrating. Please help us investigate this situation and put a stop to the noise. Thank you.
