The bus stop in front of 1161 Hyde Park Avenue was repainted after the road work, but the painted bus stop line was extended far beyond the posted bus stop signs. This has eliminated nearly all parking in front of my house. Most bus stops in Hyde Park are painted for one bus length, but this one was marked for about two buses, even though buses typically stop at the first sign. The extra length seems unnecessary and creates problems when entering my driveway, as buses sometimes honk at me. I am requesting that the City review and shorten the painted bus stop line so it matches the posted signage and is consistent with other neighborhood stops, while still allowing buses to safely operate
