BTD Planners: There are many signs like these all over Boston, installed back when the citywide speed limit was 30 mph. The idea was to encourage drivers to go a little slower than the limit (though these aren’t technically speed limit signs). Since the official speed limit has been 25 mph for several years now, how about printing out a bunch of stickers that say “15” (or even “20” though that’s really too fast for this and many other streets) and placing them over the now irrelevant 25s?

BTD planners and engineers: Since we seem to be unable to enforce our parking rules, it is time for physical barriers to prevent people from storing their cars improperly.
