There has been a noticeable increase in rat activity on Washington Street, especially near 127 Washington St, Brighton, and 175 Washington Street MA 02135.

Location: Back alley behind 166–168 F Street, shared with buildings connected to 322–324 Athens St and 297–299 W 3rd St, South Boston. Description: There is increasing rodent activity in this alley. Some neighbors are filling up trash bins that are not assigned to them, leaving other residents without space for their own waste. As a result, bins are overflowing and attracting rats. Rodents are getting close to the building structures, and this is becoming a health and safety concern. Requesting inspection, rodent control measures, and notification to property owners/management regarding proper waste disposal and bin usage. Alley runs behind the listed addresses and includes the shared trash area.

One lane of traffic is a nightmare when delivery trucks are making deliveries. Here are two delivery trucks both blocking travel lanes and one also blocking a crosswalk at the same time at lunchtime today. This does not seem safe for pedestrian visibility in crosswalks. It also causes so much congestion on Centre street.
