7/3/2026 maintenance came to inspect the source of a leak that had been ongoing for +12hrs, noticed by me around midnight 7/3. He “shut off” the source of the leak from the above unit and mentioned residual water will fall. It is now minutes to 8:30am 7/4/2026 and the water is still running but also there’s a pungent odor. I called the Fire Dept because of the unfamiliar odor who suspected the leak to be from a waste pipe and the smell that of waste. Fire Dept said they will call ISD and that management needs to fix this immediately. There are plans for someone to head to the above unit on Monday but unsure what the plans are to clean the mess in my unit, 105, or how safe it is to be here inhaling waste runoff.
