I am reporting an unlicensed commercial food operation called “Pizza Le Beth” running out of a residential apartment in the North End at 28 Battery St. They are selling high-risk TCS food (pizza with cheese, sauce, and toppings) which is prohibited in residential kitchens under Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. They are advertising and taking orders via Hotplate/Instagram, posing potential fire safety risks to the building and health risks to the public.

Inconsistent heating in apartment, regularly not meeting minimum heat requirements over a period of a month. Landlord notified featuring three phone calls and over 14 messages throughout a two week period. No response received to this date. System will regularly state ‘heat on’ whilst heat remains below minimum thresholds. Periods of heat being above thresholds followed by days of not. Seemingly I’m unable to make any sense of how to decide when the heat works and when it doesn’t. I have a month of logs in my notes page (attached three screenshots below) documenting these inconsistencies.

It’s been over a week and this pothole is still not filled. It looks like it’s over a foot deep and it’s gonna ruin peoples vehicles. The previous ticket that I submitted was closed out because you assumed that because the state police flagged that it was gonna be filled. Please fix the hole immediately.

Complaint Type: Unsanitary conditions – retail business Location: Savers, West Roxbury, MA Description: I am reporting ongoing unsanitary restroom conditions at this business. The bathroom is consistently in poor condition and does not meet basic hygiene standards. Specific issues include: Stall doors that do not close properly Walls covered in writing/graffiti Toilets that do not flush Missing toilet paper dispensers/closures Frequent lack of toilet paper and paper towels This is a busy store, and the restroom conditions are not being maintained at an acceptable level for public use. The situation appears ongoing rather than temporary. I am requesting an inspection and enforcement of proper sanitation standards.
