There is a section of Essex street in chinatown, between the intersections of harrison ave and oxford street, that is constantly being driven by the wrong way on by bike based food delivery drivers. Often they drive off of oxford, take a left, and drive the wrong way down essex. my apartment window overlooks the area and I consistently see not only driving that small stretch of road the wrong way, but when there is traffic the opposite way, driving on the sidewalk. this frequently happens when there are pedestrians on that section of sidewalk and they have to jump out of the way. could any city attention be paid to this matter? thank you for all of your assistance. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]

A car is parked blocking a ramp and making turning very dangerous on and off of North Mead street.

Vehicle has been parked illegally around 10 Medfield Street for over an hour, with both illegal parking and no resident sticker. The vehicle is blocking both the side walk and the road, creating a potential hazard for both other vehicles and pedestrians. The vehicle owner seems to think that placing a Boston police department jacket on their front windshield allows them to park wherever they would like, even if it creates hazards for other people. MGL chapter 89, section 7 clearly states that only officially authorized emergency vehicles are exempt from parking violations. This is NOT an authorized emergency vehicle as you can see in the picture.
